A disturbing psychological thriller from Italian master Dario Argento, The Stendhal Syndrome follows Anna Manni, a young police detective whose investigation leads her to Florence, where she collapses inside a museum after being overwhelmed by the power of the artworks around her. Suffering from the mysterious Stendhal syndrome, Anna becomes vulnerable to the killer she is hunting, entering a nightmarish spiral where art, trauma, violence and identity begin to blur.
